Hidden secrets of NIT Warangal: Amazing places to wind down on campus

Well, all the places in NIT Warangal are impressive, and every place feels different. It is actually really tough to find favorites, but these are the most popular spots which people visit there for fun, relaxation, and some great memories.

 

1. Times Square (TS)

It has been the focal point of all student activities. Day or night, people are always found sitting, talking, or celebrating over there. Festive seasons bring this whole place to life in excitement.

 





2. MME Grass

It's beautiful night view with lights and is a convenient venue for celebrating birthdays next to TS.

 


3. Central Library & 24-hour reading hall

If you like reading-or enjoy air conditioning-this is the place for you! Students come here to study, but also get away from the heat.

 


4. Food street, cafeteria, and Tea and Snacks corner

Food Street: Always more populated than the classrooms, obviously during breaks.

Cafeteria Area: Spend a quiet morning with a cup of coffee while sipping to sounds of nature.

5. Stadium

It is a silent place for morning runs and games. It takes on the color of vivaciousness during professional shows and celebrations during festivals.

 



6. The Admin Bridge

It connects the Admin Building to the Civil and Electrical Departments. It is also a lovely venue for a walk on a windy day or a still night.

 




7. Old Auditorium (Old Audi)

This place has movie nights, music events, DnD nights, and even meetings. It is a popular spot for students after classes.

 






8. Ambedkar Learning Centre (ALC)

A hub for lectures, events, and gatherings. Come on in during your first year-you can count on many visits even if only for a refreshment!

 

9. 1.8K Hostel

This is one of the largest hostels in India, and also very popular for

 Late-night games of badminton, film nights.

Near 1.8K Hostel there is a shop named, County Oven which open until 1 AM for puffs, burgers and sandwiches and till the examination time for coffee.



10. NAB - New Academic Building

This is where the students spend most of their time attending to club activities and also attending regular classes. Later, it becomes the homeworking place when examination time approaches and the benches outside under trees become special for many.

 


11. NITW Logo

There's the NITW logo almost at the front gate. Not a sign, naturally, but a special memory any way. Most students congregate here to take photographs, especially at night when lights make it feel magical.

 


12. IFC-A (Mess)

Here, frees and gift exchanges overflow, and in the mess, new friends await each other. Not just a place to eat, but it's a place of memories as well.

 

13. Department of Physical Education
 

From attending classes in the gym to pickup volleyball games, first EAA will be introduced into your lifestyle in the Department of Physical Education.

 

14. Student Activity Center, SAC

 

It is a place for entertainment, meetings, and club cultural events.

 

Outside School Adventures

 

Even though campus life is full of excitement, it holds immense experiences beyond its boundaries. Kazipet for a 4 AM breakfast or watching the TV Tower sunrise. Cultural experience and visit Warangal Fort and 1000 Pillar Temple. Waddepally Lake for sunset and Rayyans for biryani. S2 or Bhavani Theatres movie marathons.  Night snacks at Lassi Shop and loads of other delicious treats at Palamuru Grill, Kadai and Fusion 9. Old Blocks and Your Room The second-year hostels are full of greenery. All this greenery, though, creates a very refreshing break from all the chaos in day-to-day life.
